Furthermore, he is not only a photographer, but an artist and the pictures show that through and through. Wow where do I begin? I LOVED every part of Michael's presence in our suite while my bridesmaids, Mom and I prepared for the ceremony. He was not only funny and accommodating, but he was SO understanding. He helped my bridesmaids and myself walk to the venue from our suite, he held my bouquet, and made us all laugh. He is absolutely amazing at his art...and his way of making you feel comfortable in front of the lens is incredible. I ran into a few "hiccups" on our day, and Michael helped me through them with a smile on his face and a sense of calm that was contagious. He helped my husband and I multiple times that night with questions we had and even fanned me when I got hot! LOL Somehow through all of this he managed to take incredible photos to capture our special day. I cannot say enough about how kind Michael is and how at ease he made me feel. He is not only an amazingly kind person, but his pictures are INCREDIBLE. I have never seen anyone do what he did for us. Even my parents who are older and seem to have seen it all were blown away by his talent. If you are looking for someone insanely nice and TALENTED to capture your big day, take my advice and go with Michael Escobar. Thank you Michael!!!

We cannot say enough good things about Michael Escobar Photography. I was blessed with a very involved groom, and he was in charge of choosing our photographer. Wedding photos are a huge deal, and it was tough for this micro-managing bride to relinquish control of that decision. My, oh my am I glad I did. 

From their very first phone conversation, my husband and Michael hit it off. It was so important for us to have a photographer that we could have fun with. We wanted our pictures to show real, candid moments, and we wanted to be able to have those moments in front of our photographer. Michael and Erin inspired those moments. 

They arrived on site early, full of energy, and with a million photo ideas for a venue that they were just seeing in person for the first time. They were so cool and relaxed for what could’ve been an incredibly stressful day. Their mood was contagious. 

We had four junior attendants; ages four, two, two and 18 months. They were a chaotic handful, rushing around Michael as he was trying to capture the formal posed shots of our wedding party. He handled the kids like a champ and was awesome at getting them to look at the camera when they were in the shot. On a few occasions Michael would say, “Hold on, there’s a kid doing something cute over there.” And he would rush off and get it on camera.

One of my favorite fun memories from the wedding is of Michael, out on the dance floor with all of our close friends and family, holding a camera in my maid of honor’s face, snapping hundreds of photos of her workin the dance floor. Michael and Erin became part of the party, part of the family.

We woke up the morning after the wedding to two photos from Michael. I seriously cried when I saw them; they were so beautiful. We’re 17 day newlyweds, and I squeal with excitement every time I see a new notification that says, “Michael Escobar tagged you….” or “You have a new email from Michael Escobar.”  The few photos we’ve received each week are such savory appetizers for what’s to come. 

Of all the vendors we worked with to make our wedding happen, Michael Escobar Photography was undoubtedly the favorite.

To get an idea of how awesome Michael is, my husband asked if Michael would like to grab a drink with him, the next time he's in the Wilmington area. I honestly don't know how to describe Michael to give him the credit his deserves. He genuinely cares about his clients and continuously made an effort to keep in contact with us from the time we booked him to the day of our wedding. He's very involved and responded almost immediately to our questions and concerns. Michael's personality made everything easier. He talked to us like we knew him for quite some time. There was no type of awkward moment what-so-ever. If you're camera shy like I was, you won't be when shooting with him. He made the atmosphere comfortable and always had my husband and I laughing. He was very open to all of our guests and made sure we informed them that they could grab him for pictures anytime they wanted. He took pictures of EVERYTHING, which I personally appreciated. There were the typical wedding photos, but once the reception started, he was on the dance floor shooting everything that went down. He provided sneak peaks of some of the images he took, and they were PHENOMENAL. We're so excited to see all of them! My husband and I can't thank Michael enough for his services. He definitely deserves to sit on a pedestal for the quality of his work.

Where do I begin? I found Michael's site & was immediately impressed by his creativity & quality of photos. I knew I wanted standard posing shots, but I needed someone with a fun and creative side to bring to my photos and my Disney theme as well. Also, people tend to freeze up when taking photos. I knew the guys needed direction & someone who was easy & enjoyable to work with & the girls & little ones would get more into posing if they were comfortable & having fun.
OH MY GOODNESS did I find my knight in shining armor or what! I received so many compliments from members of the wedding party & GUESTS that came up to me & raved about Michael & his assistant David. I am still getting comments such as, "he was the hardest working photographer I have ever seen" & "he seemed like a barrel of fun & he really knew what he was doing” from family & friends. He made everyone feel so comfortable, adapted to each group, & kept everyone smiling. Trust me, this is KEY to having wonderful photos. 
Before the big day, he contacted me several times & welcomed the opportunity to discuss any shots I wanted. He created some amazing photos that spoke to my theme and Matthew & I as a couple. He stopped ask & me how I was doing. It may seem like a very small gesture, but it meant a lot to me. He did whatever he had to to get the shot just right. He is perfect for any bride (creative or clueless)!
Matthew & I cannot say enough wonderful things about him. It was a real treat to have him photograph our wedding that was 11 years in the making. He was definitely an important and essential piece to the puzzle that made our wedding day perfect. He went above & beyond as a photographer. He not only captured the moments of our wedding that we will cherish forever, but also helped create some of the most memorable moments of our wedding day with his smile, jokes, quotes, ninja skills, & sounds that kept us entertained. He was truly a gem. Thank you so much! You were the bessssst!
