Michael, Michelle and David have all lived and worked in Wilmington, NC for the last 8+ years.
IT ALL STARTED WHEN…
Michael decided to move to Colorado, but then he didn’t — at least at first!
When Michael’s family decided to take the leap of faith and head out west, Michael and his wife Erin reached out to Michelle hoping to have her fill in for some of his scheduled weddings in his place. Plans didn’t go accordingly, and the two began shooting weddings together instead!
A few months later, Michael finally moved to CO, and Michelle then to the Raleigh/Durham area, leading into a merge of the two’s businesses, now known as The Vibrant!
Michael had been working closely with another well-known Wilmington photographer and began branching out on his own in 2014. Michelle moved from San Diego to ILM in 2015, where a mutual friend/photographer informed her of Michael’s work, referencing him as her “spirit animal.” The two admired each other’s similar shooting style for years, even hiring one-another for family photos and referring weddings to each other!
David and Michael had known each other for years before entering into the wedding industry. David had formerly shot numerous weddings with Michael and other local photographers, but only recently ALSO decided to take another leap of faith and pursue photography for himself! The three photographers have since all become close family friends, with their spouses and a total of 6 beautiful children.
