About Our Families

We do more family shoots than any other type of session.

We LOVE kids! …from 0-99! We know every family is different and those threenagers and dads tend to have short attention spans; but we promise once everyone warms up, you will all leave the session with smiles and memories.

There are 3 things we intend to accomplish at every family session:

FORMALS

The most important part of family photographs is the art of documentation. We often begin our session by getting those images of standard posing and looking at the camera out of the way. Then the remaining time can be used to get more intimate and have fun.

CANDIDS

Whether it’s the yawn of a sleeping newborn, or an epic arm wrestling competition with the strongest man left standing; our style is a very hands-on journalistic approach. Look out for funny prompts and posing ideas from Michelle and Michael to get epic smiles and forever candid moments captured.

EVERYONE!

The event of having everyone in one place at the same time together in one photo can be monumental! We make sure that No One is Missed from individual photos, to large and small groupings. Often times with families, parents may not have had formal photos since their wedding day! Whether or not this is the case, we always prioritize capturing parents/grandparents in their own portraits together.

Session with Michael or Michelle - $750

We shoot till we’re done. so no time limits but a session usually lasts from 45 minutes to an hour

At Least 100 Images in your portfolio (Usually many more)
Great for Families or all sizes
Candids, groupings, fun photos. We do them all!

Associate Photographer: David Calhoun

David is our resident car guy, power lifter, and converted coffee enthusiast (thats what happens when you hang out with Michael 😂) Michael And David have been photographing families and weddings together for half a decade and With David recently having started his own photography business in Boone we hoped to maybe borrow him for the summers, to take advantage of his immense talent. (We basically selfishly want to keep him to ourselves 😅)
