Stephanie & Matthew came down to fort fisher on a Friday evening to tie the knot together. Unfortunately as we were both on our way to the beach we hit a wall of pouring rain, we decided to reschedule for the very next morning bright and early. We all met up at 6:30 for Norma Escobar (yup, thats my mom) to perform the ceremony and capture the beauty of this couples love for each other and their incredible chemistry.

You could say they have an affinity for Disney :) So it was only appropriate that they have a Magical Disney Wedding. The reception table center pieces were all home made and brilliantly done by Jessica herself, and each one represented a different Disney movie. I was blown away.

Several unexpected things happened at this wedding. Like the A/C not working in the brides hotel room, and the threat of rain causing the ceremony to be moved inside. But the show must go on!! And this show was beautiful :)

We had so much fun shooting this wedding. After the reception was over we took the light rail back into uptown Charlotte to shoot some more. It also happened to be the same night as a halloween pub crawl. We had run-ins with Captain America, Batman, and a zombie bride and groom.

Everything that could go right, went right at this wedding. It was very humbling for me to watch these two show their love for each other, both with the bridesmaid's well rehearsed song, and the groomsmen's fully choreographed dance!! :)
